Breedmax® Is more than just a food supplement!

Used on the continent for many years with great success, Breedmax® now available in the UK through a number of avian stockists such as Dietec UK specialist avian supplies. The technically balanced composition ensures an effective resorption of the egg yolk and diminishes the cases of yolk rest infection. This is mainly due to very specific fructo-oligo-saccarides (F.O.S.), scientifically developed for better egg yolk resorption and better development of the internal organs (liver, stomach – intestine, pancreas).

Breedmax® contains peptido-glycans
These beta-glycans significantly improve and provide resistance against infections. The carbohydrates and fibre collective with very specific fructo-oligo-saccarides (F.O.S.) ensure proper bowel function and optimal digestion of the food and good growth and optimal health in young and adults birds. Breedmax also contains unsaturated fats and the right amount of essential fatty acids like linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid. These fats are neglected by many commercial eggfood producers, which are precursors of hormones important for reproduction. They improve the fertility significantly and are also necessary for optimal skin and feather structure. The fat content guarantees optimal growth of the young birds, but avoid obesity in the adult birds. The proteins (25.7%) within Breedmax are easy digestible and contain all the essential amino acids. Lysine, threonine, methionine and cysteine have been added in generous quantities. They are important building blocks for growth and plumage.

Breedmax is a balanced composition especially designed for bird’s, which ensures good condition and optimal fertility in adult birds, containing the correct amounts of proteins, carbohydrates, fat and minerals for your bird’s needs. In its light granular form it can be mixed with egg food to a breadcrumb like consistency, or sprinkled over suitable feed or feeding straight to birds in pellet form, either way the birds love it.

The Breedmax® Composition Light Granular Formula
Breedmax provides the necessary minerals and trace elements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, cobalt, manganese, is present in sufficient quantities. A well absorbable calcium compound and the right calcium/phosphorus ratio are important in the prevention of egg binding. The vitamin contents will supply the bird’s daily needs. Extra supplements of the most important vitamins for birds (Vit. A, E, B3 and PP) have been added. This composition guarantees optimal health and fertility.

Administration
Breedmax is suitable for all birds, including Softbills, Canaries, Budgies, Exotic Finches and Waxbills, Parrot and Parakeets, Poultry, Pigeons, Pheasants and Partridges and even Ducks.

Breedmax® Feeding frequency

Outside the breeding season: offer breedmax twice weekly in the egg-foods or other types of soft-foods.

During the breeding season: offer breedmax daily in the egg-foods or other types of soft-foods.

Dosage: Add 5 to 10g of Breedmax® per 100g of food: note the provided measuring scoop is 12g

As a veterinary surgeon and vet-bird lover, I was looking for a product to bring my own birds in an optimum condition and to improve the fertility and breeding results. The products on the market then in (1995) contained only small separate component of the total feeding parcel. This was the only way vitamins; minerals, endosperm and flora stimulating preparations were available, each with their specific limited properties. However, I was looking for a product that grouped all these properties in one preparation. Consequently, in association with a veterinary surgeon, nutrition expert we produced Breedmax this contained all elements of the feeding spectrum desired. After tests on my own birds, the results proved to be excellent. In addition, it stimulated the resorption of the yolk and has a favorable influence on the bowel flora. This is how Breedmax eventually became available to the market. Now thousands of European breeders use Breedmax, a product that in the meantime has developed to a “must-have within the avifauna.
