This soaking seed mixture has been designed to be used by the following bird species: Parrots, Cockatoos, Macaws, Parakeets, Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Conures, and Rosella's.
The combination of seven carefully selected wholesome ingredients embodied within the Avian Specific AS305 Soak Seed Mixture provides the perfect supplementary food for pet or breeding birds alike. The mixture has been blended to ensure that maximum palatability levels are achieved. These high palatability levels were only achieved by closely monitoring the natural consumption levels of a wide variety of different bird species over a two year period. Once soaked and softened, the AS305 Soak Seed Mixture becomes irresistible for seed eating bird's. The Avian Specific AS305 soak seed mixture can also be sprouted if this is preferred, the product has been designed to be used in-conjunction with other Avian Specific supplementary products such as the popular AS335 or AS315 natures harvest mixtures but it is not essential particularly if you are intending to use the mixture in-conjunction with pr-cut fresh fruits and vegetables.
How to use: Place the amount of seed your birds require into a bowl, add clean water so that the seeds are fully submerged. Soak for 24 hours. After soaking for 24 hours rinse well with clean fresh water and your soaked seeds are now ready to be offered to your birds.
Please note: that it is always best to use a water sanitizing agent whilst soaking seeds or pulses. We can recommend one of two products for this purpose i.e. Gem Sparkle or The Birdcare Company's Aviclens.
