This supplementary mixture has been designed for use with the following birds: Conures, Parrots, Cockatoos and Macaws.

Avian Specific AS335 Natures Harvest Tropical contains a wide selection of 21 dried fruits, wild berries, dried vegetables, cerials and grains. Similar to the Avian Specific AS315 Natures Harvest mixture, AS335 Natures Harvest Tropical contains fewer vegetables and a larger proportion of dried fruits which makes it the ideal supplementary product for the large bird species which generally prefer eating larger amounts of fruit and less vegetables as part of their daily diet.

Although natures harvest tropical is regarded as a soaking mixture, and has been used in this way by bird owners for many years the product has proven to be equally successful when provided in its dry state, so simply offer the product to your birds in a separate bowl, or try mixing natures harvest tropical into your birds favourite dry seed mixture at approximately 4 parts dry seed mixture to 1 part natures harvest tropical and watch your birds tuck in.

The main advantage of using the natures harvest tropical lies with the products ability to supply your birds with an abundance of highly beneficial food items, at all times throughout the entire year. This becomes particularly useful for bird keepers when fresh produce such as wild berries for example are out of season. To ensure that the quality and purity aspects of the mixture are always maintained, the incorporated ingredients embodied within the product (a-part form the wild berries) are obtained in-directly from human consumption sources. Natures harvest tropical mixture has been offered to just about every kind of medium to large parrot species with extremely pleasing results. The birds which already use natures harvest tropical mixture benefit from the varied selection of nutrient rich food items that the mixture contains. These additional food items help to create a natural balance when fed in-conjunction with your birds main birdseed diet, so it is of no surprise to find that birds using this product tend to flourish on such a medium.

Natures harvest tropical mixture can also be use in-conjunction with other Avian Specific supplementary foods such as the popular Avian Specific AS310 hi-pro easy sprout mixture. Combining these products helps to ensure that extra nutrients are made available to your birds, not to mention providing them with a highly enjoyable food to eat.

How to use: Place the amount of food your birds require into a bowl, add clean water so that the food items are fully submerged. Soak for 24 hours. After soaking for 24 hours rinses well with clean fresh water and your food is now ready to be offered to your birds. Alternatively Avian Specific AS335 Natures Harvest Tropical can be offered in its dry state (see above)

Please note: that it is always best to use a water sanitizing agent whilst soaking this food. We can recommend one of two products for this purpose i.e. Gem Sparkle or The Birdcare Company's Aviclens)
